About the work

Four stylised figures — three women and a child — gaze upward with wide eyes, their rounded faces and layered garments rendered in bold, fragmented strokes of red, blue, purple, and green. The composition buzzes with expressive energy, the figures emerging from a richly coloured, cubist-inflected background.
