Artsamy for Events

Get your show, opening, or fair in front of the region's collectors and readers.

The regional calendar for what's worth seeing.

Artsamy maintains an events calendar of the shows, openings, fairs, and exhibitions worth seeing across the Middle East and North Africa — curated, current, and free to be listed in.

If you are organising a gallery show, a museum exhibition, an art fair, a biennale, an opening, a talk, or a panel, and the audience includes serious collectors, writers, or readers of contemporary art across the region, there is a place for it on Artsamy.

Submitting takes five minutes. The form is at the bottom of this page. Listings publish within one business day of submission. Editorial pickup follows a curatorial process described below.

What we list.

Six kinds of events make sense on the Artsamy calendar.

Gallery shows and exhibitions, anywhere in the region.

Museum exhibitions, openings, and special programming.

Art fairs and biennales — regional and international when relevant to MENA audiences.

Opening receptions and artist talks tied to current shows.

Panel discussions, public lectures, and conferences on art in the region.

Public auctions of relevance to the regional market.

If your event involves contemporary art and would matter to someone reading Artsamy, submit it. Curation is light at this stage; we would rather list everything serious than gatekeep a thin calendar.

What submission gets you.

A listing on the Artsamy events calendar, visible to every visitor of the platform — collectors, gallerists, writers, and the wider regional art audience. Filterable by city, date, and event type.

Selected events also receive editorial coverage in our Shows & Events publication. We do not cover everything — that is the role of the calendar — but we do write about openings, shows, and fairs that carry real significance for the region's contemporary art conversation. Editorial picks are at our curators' discretion; partner galleries are prioritised but not guaranteed.

There is no cost to be listed.

How it works

From submission to listing in one business day.

Submit

Fill the form below with your event details, venue, dates, and a high-quality lead image. Five minutes.

Review

Our team reviews submissions within one business day. We may write back with questions on dates, venue, or image — never on the merit of the event.

Publish

Live on the events calendar the same day we approve. Editorial pickup, where it happens, comes within the following two to three weeks.

Submit your event.

The form below captures everything we need. If you are submitting on behalf of a series of events — a festival, a fair, multiple openings — submit them one at a time so each can be reviewed and listed accurately.

For partner galleries on the platform, your show announcements can be sent directly to your partnership contact and we'll list them on your behalf.
