About the work

A richly layered still life presents open books with Arabic script, rolled manuscripts, a decorative carpet box, and scattered architectural drawings arranged on a wooden surface. The warm brown and ochre palette gives the composition a timeless, antiquarian atmosphere evoking centuries of Arab scholarly heritage.
