About the work

A dense composition of fragmented figures, spears, and abstract symbols fills the torn-edged surface of this monochrome etching, rendered with intricate hatching and bold geometric contrasts. The scene evokes a sense of ancient ritual or battle, compressed into a tightly interwoven graphic field of black and white.

Zainab Abdul Razzaq (Iraq).
