Zainab Abdelhamid (زينب عبد الحميد, also transliterated as Zeinab Abdel Hamid) was a prominent Egyptian painter born in 1919 and active until her passing in 2002. Renowned for her vibrant use of color and expressive brushwork, Abdelhamid was a key figure in the Egyptian modern art movement. Her work often depicted scenes of daily life in Egypt, urban landscapes, and interiors, rendered in a style that blended elements of post-impressionism and local visual traditions.
