Jordan

Tina Nader Omran is a Jordanian visual artist known for her evocative paintings that delve into themes of horror and fantasy. A graduate of the American University in Cairo with a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Arts, Omran draws inspiration from nightmares, objects, people, landscapes, and abandoned places. Her work explores the interplay between innocence and evil through various characters, weaving intricate backstories and personal interpretations. In October 2019, Omran held a solo exhibition at Dar Al-Anda Gallery in Amman, showcasing her unique style characterized by mature colors and diverse strokes. The exhibition was part of Amman Design Week, highlighting her growing prominence in the Jordanian art scene. ([ammandesignweek.com](https://ammandesignweek.com/program/art-exhibition-tina-nader-omran?utm_source=openai)) Further contributing to the local art community, Omran co-founded "The Spilled Milk," a creative art space and shop in Jabal Amman, with her husband, Egyptian artist Hashem L Kelesh. Launched in August 2021, the space aims to make art accessible across various genres, including painting, photography, sculpture, music, and dance performances. Omran's artistic journey is deeply influenced by her family's rich cultural background. Her father was a renowned theater producer, and her aunt, Nadera Omran, is an iconic Jordanian actress. This heritage is evident in her work, which reflects a profound understanding of dramatic expression and storytelling.
