Sayed Mohamed Sayed (1931–2013) was an Egyptian visual artist renowned for his evocative paintings that often depicted architectural forms, particularly rural and desert dwellings. Born in Cairo, he spent his early years in the neighborhoods of Khalifa, Darb Al-Ahmar, and Helmiya. His artistic journey began at the age of nine, drawing on walls and decorating ceilings in his local community.
