Egypt, b. 1968

Sanaa Mahmoud Mousa Ghazi, known professionally as Sanaa Mousa, is an Egyptian graphic artist born on August 28, 1968, in Kafr El-Sheikh, Egypt. She earned her Bachelor of Art Education in 1993 and honed her graphic art skills under the mentorship of artist Abdel Wahab Abdel Mohsen between 1991 and 1993.

Mousa has showcased her work in several solo exhibitions, including at the Atelier Alexandria in 1998, Boswil Gallery in Switzerland in 1999, and the Hussein Fawzi Hall at the Gezira Art Center in 1999. Her participation in group exhibitions is extensive, featuring in events such as the National Exhibition of Fine Arts (23rd edition) in 1993, the Port Said National Biennale (2nd edition) in 1994, and the Youth Salon from its 6th to 12th editions between 1994 and 2000. Internationally, she represented Egyptian female artists in a UNESCO-organized exhibition in Paris in 1995 and participated in the Sharjah Biennale for Graphics in 1997.

Throughout her career, Mousa has received numerous accolades, including the Jury Prize at the 6th Youth Salon in 1994, the second prize in oil painting at the 7th Youth Salon in 1995, and the first prize in graphics at the 9th Youth Salon in 1997. Her works are part of collections in the Museum of Aargau in Switzerland and the Museum of Modern Egyptian Art in Cairo.
