Sahar Mohamed Othman Dourgham, known professionally as Sahar Dourgham, is an Egyptian artist born on December 8, 1970. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts, specializing in Animation and Book Art, from Helwan University in 2005. Dourgham's artistic practice encompasses various mediums, including installation art and video performance, often exploring themes of language, society, and cultural identity.

Dourgham has presented her work in numerous solo exhibitions, notably "In Touch" at Mellanrummet Gallery, The Royal Academy of Arts in Sweden (2001), and "Two Versions of Holes" at the Goethe Institute in Cairo (2006) and Alexandria (2007). Her participation in group exhibitions includes "Switching Language," a video performance with artist Hadieel Nazmy at the Goethe Institute in Alexandria (2003), and the 9th Exhibition of Artist Books in Ireland (2003). She has also been involved in various workshops and international biennales, contributing to the global discourse on contemporary art.

In addition to her artistic endeavors, Dourgham has held academic positions, serving as a lecturer at the Faculty of Applied Arts at October University. Her contributions to the art world have been recognized with awards, such as the Encouragement Prize in the University Youth Competition at Mansoura University in 2003.
