Jordan

Safa'a Al-Sharif is a Jordanian artist, writer, and critic specializing in Islamic arts. She holds a Master's degree in Islamic Arts, an International Baccalaureate Diploma in Fine Arts from the UK, and a Diploma in Human Resources from Jordan. Al-Sharif serves as the director of the Art Ammon Foundation.

Throughout her career, Al-Sharif has participated in over twenty international exhibitions and group shows across countries including Turkey, Lithuania, India, Indonesia, Tunisia, Egypt, Russia, the Czech Republic, Morocco, Lebanon, Greece, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates. She has also held three solo exhibitions in Jordan in 2006. Her work is featured in the Jordan National Gallery of Fine Arts, notably the piece titled "Hope" from 2020.

In addition to her artistic endeavors, Al-Sharif has contributed to the literary field by publishing a book on Islamic art titled "The Dome in the Mamluk Era." She is an active member of various cultural and artistic organizations, including the Jordanian Plastic Artists Association, the Mobile Workshop Association, the Jordanian Friends of Archaeology Association, and the Toastmasters International Organization for Public Speaking. Al-Sharif has also coordinated international art and cultural conferences and has been involved in documenting Palestinian heritage, such as contributing to a book detailing traditional Palestinian attire for each city and village.
