About the work
Four rounded ceramic chairs cluster together, their surfaces etched with expressive figurative markings and linear motifs reminiscent of ancient cave drawings. The hand-built forms are finished in a warm palette of ochre, brown, and mottled white glaze, giving the piece a raw, archaic quality.
