Reda Abdel Rahman, born in Ismailia, Egypt, in 1966, is a distinguished contemporary artist whose work intricately weaves ancient Egyptian motifs with modern themes. He earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts from Minya University in 1988, followed by a Master's degree in mural painting from Helwan University in 1995, and a Ph.D. in Fine Arts from Minya University in 1999. His artistic journey is profoundly influenced by his upbringing amidst the natural beauty of Ismailia and his academic experiences surrounded by Pharaonic monuments and Coptic monasteries. He has also participated in significant group exhibitions such as the Cairo Biennale (2019) and the Spring Break Art Show in Los Angeles (2025). In 2021, he inaugurated the Portrait Studio & Art School in New York, aiming to foster artistic dialogue between Egyptian and American art communities.
