Patricia Waller is a German artist renowned for her innovative textile sculptures that blend humor with dark themes. Born in Santiago de Chile in 1962, she studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Karlsruhe, Germany. Waller's work primarily involves crocheted figures that challenge traditional perceptions of craft and art, often depicting unsettling scenes with a satirical edge.

Throughout her career, Waller has held numerous solo exhibitions, including "Innocent" at Galerie Deschler in Berlin (2018) and "The Violent Needle" at Shirley's Temple Art in Shanghai (2016). Her group exhibitions span globally, such as "My Hero!" at the Bedford Gallery in California (2016) and "Woven World" at the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Tournai in Belgium (2011). Waller's unique approach has earned her accolades like the Art Award of the Werner Stober Foundation in 2002.

Waller's market presence is marked by her distinctive style, which has garnered attention from collectors and institutions alike. Her works are held in various international collections, reflecting her impact on contemporary art. Residing in Berlin, she continues to explore the boundaries between art and craft, using her medium to comment on societal issues with a blend of wit and critique.
