Jordan

Omran Younes, born in Al-Hasakah, Syria, in 1971, is a distinguished artist known for his abstract figurative paintings. He graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Damascus in 1998 and earned a Master's degree in Fine Arts in 2000. Since the late 1990s, Younes has been an active participant in the Arab art scene, showcasing his work in numerous exhibitions across the Middle East and the United States. His art is characterized by a unique blend of abstraction and figuration, reflecting a deep engagement with contemporary themes.

Younes has held solo exhibitions at prominent regional art spaces, including Atassi Gallery in Damascus and Zara Gallery in Amman. His participation in Ayyam Gallery's "Shabab Uprising" in Beirut further solidified his reputation as a leading contemporary artist. His works are housed in collections across the Arab world, attesting to his significant impact on the regional art landscape.

In the auction market, Younes's paintings have garnered attention, with several of his works being sold at auction. His contributions to the art world continue to be recognized, and his pieces remain sought after by collectors and institutions alike.
