About the work

Tall date palms frame a winding village canal in this richly textured Iraqi landscape, where a small wooden boat rests on sunlit earthen banks beneath a pale blue sky. The scene captures the quiet rhythm of rural life with confident, gestural brushwork and a warm palette of ochres, greens, and sandy tones.
