Omar Hamdan, born in Jordan in 1960, is a distinguished visual artist known for his contributions to painting and graphic design. He began his artistic education under the mentorship of Muhanna Durra before pursuing formal studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome, where he graduated in 1978. Furthering his education, Hamdan obtained a Master of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from the Chelsea School of Art in London in 1985. He is an active member of the Jordanian Plastic Artists Association and served as a drawing and painting instructor at the Institute of Fine Arts in Amman from 1979 to 1982. Hamdan's artistic oeuvre spans several decades, with notable works including "Abstract" (1981), "Landscape Abstractions" (1996), and "Inspirations from Nature" (2011).
