Iraq

Mozahim Al-Nasiri, born around 1958 in Mosul, Iraq, is a distinguished painter known for his hyperrealistic style. He completed his primary and secondary education between 1964 and 1977, and later studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Baghdad from 1985 to 1994, where he was mentored by the renowned artist Faik Hassan. Al-Nasiri's work has been showcased in several notable exhibitions across the Middle East. In 2006, he participated in a group exhibition featuring Arab artists at the Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The following year, he exhibited alongside artist Ahmed Al-Karkhi in a show titled "The Walls" at the Free Hand Gallery in Damascus, Syria. In 2008, his work was featured in the Arab Forum for Plastic Art in Doha, Qatar, and in 2018, he participated in "The Elite" exhibition at the Qatar Plastic Arts Association.
