Monther Ali, born in Baghdad in 1948, is a distinguished Iraqi artist known for his contributions to both sculpture and painting. A graduate of the College of Fine Arts in 1972, Ali has dedicated much of his career to teaching art at the Central Secondary School in Baghdad. His artistic journey is marked by a deep engagement with Iraq's rich cultural heritage, often drawing inspiration from ancient Mesopotamian art forms.
