About the work

A boldly outlined female face gazes with heavy-lidded intensity, surrounded by vivid splashes of red, blue, and yellow and framed by abstract symbols and a golden flower motif. The gestural black linework and layered acrylic washes give the portrait a raw, expressive energy that draws the eye across every corner of the canvas.
