Mohammed Hanoon, born in 1974 in Kuwait, is a Palestinian-Jordanian photographer and photojournalist renowned for his evocative documentation of cultural and historical subjects. He began his photographic journey at the age of 13, developing a distinctive style that emphasizes realism and the intricate relationship between people and their environments. Hanoon pursued studies in film directing and photography at Minneapolis College of Art and Design in the United States, though he did not complete his degree. Throughout his career, Hanoon has held numerous solo and group exhibitions across the Middle East, North America, and Europe.
