Mohammad Bushnaq (محمد بشناق), born in 1934 in Haifa and later based in Jordan, was a prominent Palestinian-Jordanian artist recognized for his significant contributions to modern Arab art. Bushnaq’s artistic practice spanned painting and sculpture, with a distinctive style characterized by expressive forms and a deep engagement with themes of heritage, displacement, and identity. His works often reflect the Palestinian experience, rendered through a modernist lens that blends abstraction with figurative elements.

Bushnaq’s art has been exhibited in major institutions across the Arab world, including the Jordan National Gallery of Fine Arts, where his works are part of the permanent collection.
