Mohamed Eltohamy, born in 1938, was a prominent Egyptian artist renowned for his contributions to children's literature and illustration. After earning his bachelor's degree in painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts in 1962, he dedicated his career to enriching visual storytelling for young audiences. Eltohamy played a pivotal role in shaping the visual identity of esteemed publications such as "Samir" and "Mickey" magazines, leaving an indelible mark on Egyptian children's media. In 1976, he co-founded "Bassem" magazine, further cementing his influence in the field. His artistic endeavors extended to illustrating the "Stories of the Prophets" series for Dar Al-Ghad Al-Arabi, showcasing his versatility and commitment to cultural education.
