Milad Hamed is an Iraqi fashion designer renowned for his innovative approach to traditional attire. As a visual artist, he integrates his painting skills into fashion design, creating unique pieces that blend historical motifs with contemporary aesthetics. Hamed emphasizes the importance of preserving Iraq's diverse cultural heritage through his work, aiming to document and revitalize traditional garments to prevent their loss over time. In 2013, Hamed founded the private fashion troupe "Dunyazad" to address the lack of specialized fashion houses in Iraq. The troupe was honored as the best fashion house in Iraq and participated in events such as Baghdad's designation as the Arab Capital of Culture.
