Khaled Al Rahal (خالد الرحال, 1926–1987) was a prominent Iraqi sculptor and painter, widely recognized as a leading figure in the development of modern art in Iraq. Born in Baghdad, Al Rahal was instrumental in shaping the country’s post-war artistic landscape, blending traditional Mesopotamian motifs with modernist aesthetics. He worked primarily in sculpture, utilizing bronze and stone, but was also accomplished in painting.
