Khaled Al Jader (1922–1988) was a prominent Iraqi painter, art historian, and educator, recognized as one of the leading figures in the development of modern Iraqi art. Born in Baghdad, Al Jader was known for his expressive and dynamic style, often working in oil and watercolor. His paintings frequently depicted scenes of everyday Iraqi life, urban landscapes, and traditional markets, rendered with loose brushwork and a vibrant palette that reflected both impressionist and abstract influences.
