Khaldoun Al Dawood is a Jordanian artist renowned for his evocative portraits that delve into themes of memory and identity. His work often revisits faces from the distant past, capturing the essence of childhood memories with vibrant colors and dynamic compositions. Al Dawood's technique involves deconstructing facial features into abstract forms, blending elements of the human figure with expansive landscapes, resulting in a universal visual language.

In 2011, Al Dawood showcased over fifty pieces in Berlin, including large-scale canvases and smaller works on cardboard, each accompanied by poetic excerpts that enriched the visual narrative. As the founder of Rawaq Al Balqa, an art gallery in Jordan, he has been instrumental in promoting cultural awareness and has expressed a desire to disseminate aesthetic consciousness across cities and villages. His commitment to art therapy is evident in his initiatives in Lebanon and plans to implement similar programs in Jordanian hospitals.

Al Dawood's artistic focus predominantly features female portraits, drawing parallels between femininity and nature's attributes of fertility and beauty. His use of delicate lines and fluid color applications creates expansive fields of interwoven hues, inviting viewers to engage deeply with his work.
