Dr. Katrina Sadrak, born in 1978, is a Polish visual artist whose work bridges traditional painting techniques with cosmic themes. She earned her Ph.D. in Fine Arts from Jan Kochanowski University in Poland in 2021. Her artistic journey includes studying Eastern art and calligraphy at Tianjin Polytechnic University in China, where she honed her skills in traditional Chinese lacquer painting. Sadrak's oeuvre is deeply influenced by her engagement with astronomers, cosmologists, and astrophotographers, leading her to explore the vastness of the universe through large-scale oil paintings.
