Jean Louis Paul Émile Navarre (1914–2000) was a French painter, lithographer, and illustrator known for his contributions to mid-20th-century art. Born in Pontoise, France, he studied at the École supérieure des arts appliqués Duperré from 1929 to 1932 and continued his education under Lucien Simon at the École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts from 1933 to 1939. Navarre's work is characterized by a blend of realism and impressionism, often depicting landscapes, still lifes, and scenes of daily life.

Throughout his career, Navarre participated in numerous prestigious exhibitions. He became a member of the Salon des Indépendants in 1948 and joined the Salon d'Automne in 1959, later serving as its secretary general in 1968. His works were showcased in various solo and group exhibitions, including at the Musée d'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris and the Salon des Tuileries. In 1973, he was awarded the Prix Puvis-de-Chavannes, and in 1986, he was appointed Peintre officiel de l'Air et de l'Espace.

Navarre's artworks are held in several public collections, such as the Musée d'Art Moderne de Collioure and the Fonds national d'art contemporain in Puteaux. His painting "Le port d'Antibes" is part of the collection at the French Embassy in Canberra, Australia. Navarre passed away in Fréjus, France, in 2000, leaving behind a legacy that continues to be appreciated in the art world.
