About the work

Two figures occupy opposing halves of the canvas — a monochrome silhouette rendered in sweeping black strokes on the left, and a warm earthy female form seen from behind on the right, accented with vivid red outlines and a dark green geometric block. The raw, gestural brushwork and layered texture give the work an urgent, searching energy.
