Hisham Abdelmoety

Egypt

Hesham Abdelmoaty, born in Benha, Egypt, in October 1972, is a distinguished painter and sculptor known for his expressive abstract works. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Art Education from Helwan University in 1996, followed by a Master's degree in 2003 and a PhD in 2009, both focusing on sculpture. Abdelmoaty's artistic practice spans painting and sculpture, often exploring themes such as illegal immigration and refugees, as well as the symbolic figures of Adam and Eve.

Throughout his career, Abdelmoaty has participated in numerous exhibitions both in Egypt and internationally. Notable solo exhibitions include "Letters to Calder" at Picasso Art Gallery in April 2025 and "Adam and Eve" at Al Mashrabia Gallery in November 2019. He has also been featured in group exhibitions, such as the "Sociology Colours" exhibition at Al Mashrabia Art Gallery in October 2021.

Abdelmoaty's works are held in high regard within the art market, with paintings and sculptures available through galleries like Passion Art Gallery and Tam Gallery. His pieces, characterized by their abstract expressionist style, are sought after by collectors and art enthusiasts alike.
