Egypt, b. 1966

Gihan Soliman, born in Kuwait in 1966, is an Egyptian painter renowned for her expressive use of color and exploration of human relationships within her compositions. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Alexandria University in 1988, followed by a Master's degree in 1994 focusing on "Color as an Expressive Value in Modern Painting," and a PhD in 2000 titled "Nature in Contemporary Painting."
