Ghazi Inaim

Jordan, b. 1960

Ghazi Inaim (غازي انعيم), born in 1960 in Jordan, is a prominent contemporary artist recognized for his significant contributions to the Jordanian and Arab art scenes. Working primarily in painting, Inaim’s oeuvre is characterized by expressive compositions that often reflect cultural and social themes relevant to the region. His style blends elements of abstraction and figuration, utilizing vibrant color palettes and dynamic forms to convey emotion and narrative.

Inaim has exhibited widely in Jordan and across the Middle East, with notable institutional exhibitions at the Jordan National Gallery of Fine Arts and participation in regional biennials and group shows. His works have also been featured in international exhibitions, helping to raise the profile of Jordanian art on the global stage. Inaim is an active member of the Jordanian Plastic Artists Association, further cementing his role in the development of contemporary art in his home country.

While Ghazi Inaim’s works are well-regarded in institutional and gallery contexts, there is limited evidence of his paintings appearing at major international auction houses such as Christie’s, Sotheby’s, or Bonhams. Nonetheless, his reputation within the Middle Eastern art community remains strong, and his paintings are sought after by collectors interested in modern and contemporary Arab art.
