George Al Bahjouri (جورج البهجوري), born in 1932 in Egypt, is a prominent Egyptian painter, caricaturist, and visual artist renowned for his vibrant contributions to modern Egyptian art. Al Bahjouri’s work spans painting, drawing, and caricature, often characterized by expressive brushwork and a playful, satirical approach to Egyptian social and cultural themes. His style blends elements of Cubism and Expressionism, frequently drawing inspiration from everyday Egyptian life, folklore, and iconic figures such as the legendary singer Umm Kulthum.

Al Bahjouri’s career includes numerous solo and group exhibitions at major institutions in Egypt and abroad. His works have been displayed at the Museum of Modern Egyptian Art in Cairo and featured in exhibitions at the Institut du Monde Arabe in Paris, reflecting his international recognition.
