Fuad Al-Futaih (فؤاد الفتيح, also transliterated as Fuad Al-Futaihi) was a pioneering Yemeni artist, born in 1948 and active until his passing in 2018. Recognized as one of Yemen’s most influential modern painters, Al-Futaih worked primarily in painting and drawing, developing a distinctive style that combined elements of abstraction with motifs drawn from Yemeni heritage and daily life.
