Jordan

Faten Mahmoud Al-Dawoud, born on October 11, 1975, is a Jordanian visual artist whose work spans painting, sculpture, ceramics, and printmaking. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Sudan University of Science and Technology (2002) and has pursued extensive art education, including a diploma from the Academy of Fine Arts under the Jordanian Ministry of Culture (2010) and studies at the Sharjah Art Institute in the UAE. Al-Dawoud's artistic journey began with a focus on realistic depictions of daily life and traditional Jordanian heritage, often incorporating elements of portraiture and still life. Over time, her style evolved to embrace abstract and experimental techniques, reflecting a continuous exploration of personal expression. Her work has been showcased in numerous exhibitions, including her solo shows "Fawasel" at the Arab Cultural Club in Sharjah (2011) and "Reflections" at the same venue (2013). She has also participated in group exhibitions such as "Bridges" at the Sharjah Art Institute (2010) and "Ishraqat" in April 2011. She has also contributed to art education through teaching roles and workshops in the UAE and Jordan. ([jorpaa.com](https://jorpaa.com/author/fatend/?utm_source=openai))
