Emad Al-Dhahir (عماد الظاهر), born in Iraq in 1964, is a contemporary artist whose work spans painting and mixed media. Al-Dhahir’s artistic practice is characterized by a nuanced exploration of abstraction and figuration, often drawing on themes of memory, displacement, and cultural identity. His compositions frequently employ layered textures and vibrant color palettes, reflecting both his Iraqi heritage and his experiences in diaspora.
