Egypt, b. 1992

Dalia Negm, born in 1992 in Cairo, Egypt, is a contemporary artist renowned for her vibrant depictions of traditional Egyptian life. A graduate of Helwan University's Faculty of Fine Arts with a master's degree in Graphic Design (2020), she has also served as a professor at Mansoura University's Faculty of Fine Arts.

Negm's artistic practice focuses on capturing the essence of rural Egyptian culture through a fusion of modern and folk art styles. Her paintings vividly portray scenes such as traditional wedding ceremonies and daily activities in the countryside, characterized by rich colors and a strong narrative sense. Her work subtly symbolizes and sincerely documents Egypt's folk traditions, offering a contemporary perspective on these customs.

Since 2018, Negm has been actively exhibiting her work both locally and internationally. She has participated in exhibitions in Jordan, Jeddah, and Greece, showcasing her ability to convey Egyptian culture to a global audience. In May 2025, her work was featured in the "Upcoming Talents 2" exhibition at Dai Zamalek Gallery in Cairo, highlighting her growing prominence in the art scene.
