André Bicat (1909–1996) was a French painter, printmaker, and illustrator known for his contributions to the mid-20th-century French art scene. Born in Paris, Bicat developed a distinctive style characterized by expressive brushwork and a nuanced approach to color, often working in oils, watercolors, and various printmaking techniques. His work frequently explored themes of landscape and abstraction, reflecting both the influence of the School of Paris and his own personal vision.

Bicat exhibited widely in France and internationally, with notable institutional exhibitions including shows at the Musée d’Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris and participation in the Salon d’Automne and Salon des Indépendants.
