Ali Noori

Iraq

Ali Nouri Ali, born in Baghdad in 1965, is an Iraqi sculptor renowned for his evocative works in bronze and granite. A graduate of the College of Fine Arts at the University of Baghdad, Nouri's artistic journey began with a focus on athletic figures, later transitioning to familial themes, and eventually delving into contemporary struggles affecting the human psyche. Throughout his career, Nouri has participated in numerous international symposiums, including the Aswan International Granite Symposium in Egypt (2008), the Istanbul Marble Symposium in Turkey (2010), and the Venice Symposium in Italy (2011). His solo exhibitions span from Baghdad to Cairo, where he currently resides. Notably, his exhibition "Dialogue with Baghdad" in 2024 at The Gallery in Baghdad showcased granite sculptures reflecting the inner conflicts of humanity.
