Ali Hussein (علي حسين), born in 1957 in Syria, is a contemporary Syrian artist whose work spans painting and sculpture. His artistic practice is characterized by a deep engagement with the cultural and social landscape of Syria, often reflecting themes of heritage and identity through expressive forms and vibrant color palettes. Hussein’s style is noted for its synthesis of traditional motifs with modernist abstraction, resulting in compositions that resonate with both historical depth and contemporary relevance.
