Ahmad Nawar (أحمد نوار), born in 1945 in Egypt, is a prominent contemporary artist recognized for his significant contributions to modern Egyptian art. Nawar’s practice spans painting, graphic arts, and mixed media, often exploring themes of heritage, identity, and the intersection of tradition with modernity.
