About the work
A boldly stylised fish rendered in flat geometric shapes occupies the centre of the canvas, its body filled with colourful triangles and its fins formed from layered stripes of red, green, and white. A vertical totem-like column intersects the figure against a split background of deep blue and charcoal grey, giving the composition a graphic, ceremonial quality.
