Palestine, b. 1977

Abdel Raouf Al-Ajouri, born in 1977 in Gaza City, is a Palestinian artist whose work spans painting and sculpture, often reflecting expressionist influences. He began his artistic career in 1993 and has since participated in numerous exhibitions both locally and internationally. In 2003, he held a solo exhibition titled "A Silent Dialogue" at the Khalil Sakakini Cultural Centre in Ramallah. His works have been showcased in group exhibitions across countries including Switzerland, France, the UK, Jordan, the UAE, and Egypt. Al-Ajouri is a co-founder of the Eltiqa Group for Contemporary Art, established in 2002, and serves as an administrative member at the Eltiqa Artist’s House Gallery in Gaza.
