The Jordan National Gallery of Fine Arts in Amman is one of the leading museums of modern and contemporary art from the Arab and wider Muslim world. Founded in 1980 by the Royal Society of Fine Arts, its collection of several thousand works spans painting, sculpture, ceramics and works on paper from across the developing world.

Founded in 1980 by the Royal Society of Fine Arts, the Jordan National Gallery of Fine Arts holds one of the most significant collections of modern and contemporary art from the Arab and Muslim worlds and the wider Global South, with several thousand works across two buildings in Amman's Jabal Al Weibdeh arts district.

Beyond its permanent collection, the gallery encompasses a sculpture park and a library, and has helped position Amman as a serious centre for the modern art of the region, the very tradition Artsamy is built around.
