The Jordan National Gallery of Fine Arts in Amman is one of the leading museums of modern and contemporary art from the Arab and wider Muslim world. Founded in 1980 by the Royal Society of Fine Arts, its collection of several thousand works spans painting, sculpture, ceramics and works on paper from across the developing world.
