Artsamy app — Privacy policy
Artsamy ("we", "us") publishes the Artsamy app so collectors can browse modern and contemporary Arab art and ask us about works they like. The app is built to need as little of your personal data as possible: there is no account, no login, no advertising and no tracking. This page explains what the app keeps on your phone, what leaves your phone and why, and the choices you have.
1. What stays on your phone
The app keeps the following on your device only. None of it is sent to us unless you choose to send an inquiry (section 2):
- a copy of the catalogue (titles, artists, prices, sizes, images you have viewed) so the app works offline;
- the works you save, the works you swipe through, your inquiry list, followed artists, interests and language;
- your name and e-mail address, if you choose to enter them in Profile so your inquiries arrive ready to answer.
Deleting the app deletes all of this.
2. What leaves your phone, and why
Loading the catalogue. The app loads works and images from Shopify, the platform that runs our online store, and from its image servers. Like any website visit, those servers receive your device's IP address and standard connection data. Shopify's handling of that data is described in Shopify's privacy policy. We do not receive it.
Inquiries you send. When you tap Send inquiry and choose to send through the app, we receive your name, e-mail address, your message, the works you asked about, your app language and platform (iPhone or Android). This is sent to a server we operate (hosted by SiteGround) and e-mailed to us through Google Workspace; you receive a confirmation copy. We use it only to answer you and to arrange a viewing or a sale. Inquiry records are deleted after 12 months.
Name and e-mail entered in Profile. If you enter them, they are saved on your phone and sent to us once so that we can reply to your inquiries. They are used for nothing else and are deleted on request.
WhatsApp and e-mail. If you choose to send an inquiry by WhatsApp or by e-mail, the message opens in that app and is handled by WhatsApp (Meta) or your e-mail provider under their own privacy policies.
Anonymous usage statistics (optional). To understand which works and features matter, the app sends us counts of what happens in it: which works are viewed, saved or added to an inquiry, searches that found nothing, swipes and follows, together with a random identifier created when the app is installed, the app version, platform and language. This identifier is random, is not linked to your name, e-mail or phone, and is never shared with anyone. We do not use advertising identifiers or any third-party analytics software. These statistics are kept for 26 weeks and then deleted. You can switch them off at any time in Profile → Anonymous usage statistics.
3. Camera, photos and notifications
- Camera is used only to preview a work on your wall. The picture stays on your phone and is never uploaded.
- Photos are used only to read the colours of a photo you pick, on the phone, to find works with similar colours, and to show a work on a photo of your wall. Nothing is uploaded.
- Notifications are optional and are scheduled on your phone (the daily highlight, news from artists you follow). We do not operate a push-notification server and never receive a notification token from your device.
4. What we do not do
- No accounts and no passwords.
- No advertising, no advertising identifiers, no tracking across apps or websites.
- No sale or rental of personal data, and no sharing except with the service providers named above (Shopify, SiteGround, Google Workspace), who process it on our instructions.
- No payments in the app. Purchases are agreed personally, outside the app.
5. Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, write to us and we will delete it.
6. Where data is processed
Our inquiry server and e-mail are hosted by SiteGround and Google Workspace in their data centres, which may be outside your country. Both providers apply recognised safeguards for international transfers.
7. Your rights and choices
You can ask us at any time what personal data we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. You can also switch off usage statistics in Profile, decline notifications, and remove your name and e-mail from Profile. To exercise any right, e-mail info@artsamy.com or message us on WhatsApp at +962 799 000 764. Depending on where you live, you may also complain to your data-protection authority.
8. Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top and, for significant changes, say so in the app.

تطبيق أرتسامي — سياسة الخصوصية
ينشر أرتسامي («نحن») تطبيق أرتسامي ليتصفّح المقتنون الفن العربي الحديث والمعاصر ويسألونا عن الأعمال التي تعجبهم. صُمّم التطبيق ليحتاج أقل قدر ممكن من بياناتك الشخصية: لا حساب، ولا تسجيل دخول، ولا إعلانات، ولا تتبّع. تشرح هذه الصفحة ما يحتفظ به التطبيق على هاتفك، وما يغادر هاتفك ولماذا، والخيارات المتاحة لك.
1. ما يبقى على هاتفك
يحتفظ التطبيق بما يلي على جهازك فقط، ولا يُرسَل أيٌّ منه إلينا إلا إذا اخترت إرسال استفسار (البند 2):
- نسخة من الكتالوج (العناوين والفنانون والأسعار والقياسات والصور التي شاهدتها) ليعمل التطبيق دون إنترنت؛
- الأعمال التي تحفظها، والأعمال التي تمرّر بينها، وقائمة الاستفسار، والفنانون الذين تتابعهم، واهتماماتك ولغتك؛
- اسمك وبريدك الإلكتروني إن اخترت إدخالهما في «ملفي» لتصل استفساراتك جاهزة للرد.
حذف التطبيق يحذف كل ذلك.
2. ما يغادر هاتفك، ولماذا
تحميل الكتالوج. يحمّل التطبيق الأعمال والصور من Shopify، المنصة التي يعمل عليها متجرنا الإلكتروني، ومن خوادم صورها. وكأي زيارة لموقع إلكتروني، تتلقى تلك الخوادم عنوان IP لجهازك وبيانات الاتصال المعتادة. يصف بيان خصوصية Shopify كيفية تعاملها مع هذه البيانات، ونحن لا نتلقاها.
الاستفسارات التي ترسلها. عند الضغط على «أرسل الاستفسار» واختيار الإرسال عبر التطبيق، نتلقى اسمك وبريدك الإلكتروني ورسالتك والأعمال التي سألت عنها ولغة التطبيق ونوع الجهاز (iPhone أو Android). يُرسَل ذلك إلى خادم نديره (مستضاف لدى SiteGround) ثم إلينا بالبريد عبر Google Workspace، وتصلك نسخة تأكيد. نستخدمه فقط للرد عليك ولترتيب معاينة أو بيع. تُحذف سجلات الاستفسارات بعد 12 شهرًا.
الاسم والبريد المُدخلان في «ملفي». إن أدخلتهما، يُحفظان على هاتفك ويُرسَلان إلينا مرة واحدة لنتمكن من الرد على استفساراتك. لا يُستخدمان لأي غرض آخر ويُحذفان عند الطلب.
واتساب والبريد الإلكتروني. إن اخترت إرسال الاستفسار عبر واتساب أو البريد، تُفتح الرسالة في ذلك التطبيق وتخضع لسياسة خصوصية واتساب (Meta) أو مزوّد بريدك.
إحصاءات استخدام مجهولة (اختيارية). لنفهم أي الأعمال والميزات تهمّ المقتنين، يرسل التطبيق أرقامًا عمّا يحدث فيه: أي الأعمال تُشاهَد أو تُحفَظ أو تُضاف إلى استفسار، وعمليات البحث التي لم تجد شيئًا، والتمريرات والمتابعات، مع معرّف عشوائي يُنشأ عند تثبيت التطبيق وإصدار التطبيق ونوع الجهاز واللغة. هذا المعرّف عشوائي، وغير مرتبط باسمك أو بريدك أو هاتفك، ولا يُشارَك مع أحد. لا نستخدم معرّفات إعلانية ولا أي برمجيات تحليل من أطراف ثالثة. تُحفظ هذه الإحصاءات 26 أسبوعًا ثم تُحذف. يمكنك إيقافها في أي وقت من «ملفي ← إحصاءات استخدام مجهولة».
3. الكاميرا والصور والإشعارات
- الكاميرا تُستخدم فقط لمعاينة عمل على جدارك. تبقى الصورة على هاتفك ولا تُرفع أبدًا.
- الصور تُستخدم فقط لقراءة ألوان صورة تختارها، على الهاتف، للعثور على أعمال بألوان مشابهة، ولعرض عمل على صورة جدارك. لا يُرفع شيء.
- الإشعارات اختيارية وتُجدوَل على هاتفك (العمل المختار يوميًا، وأخبار الفنانين الذين تتابعهم). لا نشغّل خادم إشعارات ولا نتلقى أي رمز إشعارات من جهازك.
4. ما لا نفعله
- لا حسابات ولا كلمات مرور.
- لا إعلانات، ولا معرّفات إعلانية، ولا تتبّع عبر التطبيقات أو المواقع.
- لا بيع أو تأجير للبيانات الشخصية، ولا مشاركة إلا مع مزوّدي الخدمة المذكورين أعلاه (Shopify وSiteGround وGoogle Workspace) الذين يعالجونها وفق تعليماتنا.
- لا مدفوعات داخل التطبيق. يُتفق على الشراء شخصيًا خارج التطبيق.
5. الأطفال
التطبيق غير موجّه للأطفال دون 13 عامًا ولا نجمع عن علم بيانات شخصية منهم. إن كنت تعتقد أن طفلًا أرسل إلينا بيانات شخصية، راسلنا وسنحذفها.
6. أين تُعالج البيانات
خادم الاستفسارات والبريد لدينا مستضافان لدى SiteGround وGoogle Workspace في مراكز بياناتهما، وقد تكون خارج بلدك. يطبّق المزوّدان ضمانات معترفًا بها للنقل الدولي للبيانات.
7. حقوقك وخياراتك
يمكنك في أي وقت أن تسألنا عن البيانات الشخصية التي نحتفظ بها عنك، أو تصحيحها، أو طلب حذفها. ويمكنك أيضًا إيقاف إحصاءات الاستخدام من «ملفي»، ورفض الإشعارات، وإزالة اسمك وبريدك من «ملفي». لممارسة أي حق، راسلنا على info@artsamy.com أو عبر واتساب على +962 799 000 764. وبحسب مكان إقامتك، قد يحق لك أيضًا تقديم شكوى إلى هيئة حماية البيانات لديك.
8. التغييرات
إذا غيّرنا هذه السياسة، سنحدّث التاريخ في الأعلى، وننبّه في التطبيق عند التغييرات المهمة.
