Tayseer Barakat (born 1959, Gaza, Palestine) is a prominent Palestinian artist known for his evocative paintings, drawings, and mixed-media works that explore themes of memory, displacement, and the human condition. Barakat’s practice is characterized by expressive, gestural brushwork and a palette often dominated by earthy tones, reflecting both the landscape and the emotional tenor of his homeland.
