Taghreed Darghouth (born 1979, Saida, Lebanon) is a contemporary Lebanese artist recognized for her thought-provoking paintings that explore social, political, and existential themes. Working primarily in oil on canvas, Darghouth’s practice is characterized by a figurative style that often incorporates elements of realism and symbolism. Her subjects range from domestic objects and everyday scenes to more charged topics such as war, migration, and the female body, reflecting her engagement with both personal and collective narratives.
