Sana Attasi

Sana Atassi (b. 1978) is a Syrian artist who trained in cinema and graphic design in Damascus. Working in acrylic and oil, she focuses on the female face — exploring women's inner worlds through expressions of anxiety, waiting, joy and reflection, in a style that merges abstraction and symbolism. She held her first solo exhibition at Dar Al-Assad for Culture and Arts in Damascus.
