Saad Alansari

Saad Ali, born in 1953 in Al-Diwaniyah, Iraq, is a distinguished artist known for his contributions to contemporary art. He began his artistic education under the tutelage of Jasim Farhan and later studied with Kazem Al-Suhail during his secondary education. In 1980, Ali pursued further studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Perugia and Florence, Italy, where he was mentored by the artist Fero. During his time in Florence, he established a painting studio and collaborated with studios such as "Ben Lon" and "Wanigoni."

Ali's artistic journey led him to the Netherlands in 1985, where he founded the "Tei" group in Utrecht and maintained a studio there. His works have been showcased in various esteemed institutions, including the Museum of Modern Art in Baghdad in 1975, the Arab Cultural Center in Damascus, and the Italian Cultural Center in Milan. Notably, his pieces are part of collections at the Streek Museum in the Netherlands and the Olympia Museum in Moscow. Ali has also created significant murals, such as the depiction of Noah's Ark in The Hague, Netherlands.

Throughout his career, Ali has been affiliated with several art organizations, including the Dutch "Cobra" group, the Iraqi Artists Association, and the Spanish Artists Association. His works are held in private collections across Europe, including galleries in Amsterdam, Brussels, and Copenhagen. In 2004, Ali relocated to Valencia, Spain, where he continues to live and work, contributing to the global art scene with his unique perspective and style.
