Mothanna Al-Obaidi, born in 1972 in Ramadi, Iraq, is a distinguished calligrapher and artist renowned for his mastery of Arabic calligraphy. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Baghdad in 1995 and was mentored by the esteemed calligrapher Abbas Al-Baghdadi. Al-Obaidi's artistic journey is marked by a harmonious blend of traditional and contemporary styles, particularly in the Thuluth and Naskh scripts.
